Being a Trustee
 Thursday 15 January 2015 - full day  Venue: PAVO, Unit 30 Ddole Road Enterprise Park, Llandrindod Wells, Powys LD1 6DF
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
o Understand what it means to be a trustee, who can be one and what roles and responsibilities trustees may have
o Appreciate what trustees can be liable for, and know how to limit potential risks
o Understand the principles of god governance, the roles of specific officers, and the difference between a trustee board and its subcommittees
o Have an overview of what is needed for effective trustee recruitment and induction

PAVO is committed to supporting and improving 3rd sector representation. As part of this work we are offering training in Shared Power in Planing and Reviewing Services. Delivered by Mandy Williams Participation Cymru
the aim of the day is to train trainers to build confidence, knowledge and skills for 3rd sector representatives to effectively participate in the planing and reviewing of services with public bodies.
